REAL ESTATE ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGER
 

Want to learn about real estate?  Horizon Real Estate Partners is a Manhattan-based owner and operator of multifamily and commercial buildings in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx. The company is looking for an entry level hire who has a thirst to learn real estate and is ready to get involved in all aspects of its operations. The emphasis of the position will be on property management and will also offer exposure to several other areas including acquisitions and construction. We're looking for someone who is ready to roll up their sleeves and hit-the-ground-running to eventually take ownership of areas of our property management operation.

Job responsibilities will include:

• Communicating with a number of different stakeholders including tenants, vendors, superintendents, contractors and our clients

• Becoming an expert in our property management software

• Facilitating the preparation of legal documentation including lease renewals

• Conducting site visits to our properties

• Overseeing project management including various CapEx projects portfolio-wide
